The reason that I wrote this was because I wanted to put my belief out. Most of this is from videos that I watched.

I believe that America is the safest place in the world. I believe this because we have so many defenses like anti-aircraft missiles and the biggest and most advanced military in the world. Our military has one both World Wars, with the help of the other Allies, and we would have won in Vietnam, Korea, and Iraq had we not pulled out. We were also the first country to develop and launch the atomic and hydrogen bombs. Countries that have attacked us have lived to regret it.
America hasn’t always been the safest place. We had surprise attacks on Pearl Harbor and 9/11 and lots and lots of people died. We are also not safe when there’s a mass shooting or when religious extremists from other countries intentionally try to kill big groups of people.We are also not safe during natural disasters like hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires, and snowstorms. These cause death and destruction. But we can make this country safer. We can have more secure borders, stricter laws and regulations on people who want to enter this country illegally. Section 212f of the Immigration and Nationality Act says that the President has the power to ban entry on any people he believes would harm the country. He can ban ISIS members and illegal aliens would kill people and destroy things. The way that we can better protect our nation from natural disasters is we can make stronger seawalls for areas that get tons of hurricanes , better hydrated the forest that are prone to catch fire by dropping it by planes full of water monthly, and build stronger structures for the areas that are prone to tornadoes and earthquakes. Natural disasters will happen, people will die, and buildings will be destroyed. But if we keep our cities and towns built up well and we are better prepared, the damage and loss of life won’t be too bad.
For almost 250 years, American has been a majority Christian nation at around 280 million identifying as Christians. The Founding Fathers applied Christian beliefs and principles in establishing this country. It’s very important that America holds on to Christian beliefs. This will keep us the safest. If Americans lets go of the Christian principles and beliefs that our Forefathers put in place, then we will fall just like other nations that have turned away from God.
