I am posting this to show my newest piece of art. This is for Painting and Printmaking, and I call this one “World”. The reason that I made it this way was to show some of the unique things that we have in this world.
This piece is a story of the Lenten story. I did mostly washes and some with the pattles. Otherwise, it was with brushes. I wouldn’t do as much with the blue paint. The colors and way they are placed. I would make it with fewer layers.
This is a woodland landscape that I painted with watercolor. I mostly created it with wet on dry and a little wet on wet. I used brushes to apply that. If I were to make this again I would take more time creating shape in the trees. The meaning is that of a mountain path. The path in the center and the mountains in the background.
